Most everyone knows what the Chamber of Commerce is and how it can be useful for business in the local area. However, what about for home based businesses? But your Chamber of Commerce can be one of the best friends your home-based business can have.
Think about it: What is one of the main problems you encounter as a home-based business? I bet it is isolation and lack of support. Well, your Chamber of Commerce offers help in these areas, as well as many others. The whole purpose behind a Chamber of Commerce is to help small businesses succeed. Indeed, over 85 percent of U.S. Chamber members are small business owners. And what kind of business is your home-based business? Right, a small business! So your local Chamber is a place committed to your success.
The Nordonia Hills Chamber is going a step further – we have organized a home-based business group to ensure you take advantage of all the benefits. We have monthly meetings where a topic of particular interest to home-based businesses is presented, in addition to a quarterly after-hours for additional casual networking.
All you need to do to be a part of this new group is attend one of our meetings or send me your name, business, address and email. Meetings are scheduled the 3rd Wednesday of each month, 9-10:30 am at Mama Maria’s Family Restaurant in Sagamore Hills. Breakfast is available (self-pay), but the coffee is on the house.
