Thank you so very much to everyone who made our 1st Annual Community Clam Bake such a success. Sure the weather was terrible, but the food was super, as was the company. Jeff the Chef from Pat Dees and Mary Ann did a great job of getting everyone fed in the fastest manner possible. The clams were tender, the chicken and steak were “to die for” and the chowder was out of this world. Elmcroft of Sagamore Hills and Brentwood Health Care supplied the appetizers and dessert; Chick-fil-A provided coffee to keep us warm. The band Second Time Around kept spirits high. The VFW pavilion was the perfect spot. Thank you especially to Nancy Tauring (Brentwood Health Care) for rounding up her “posse” to keep the bon fire burning and help us clean up. They were the best! If you had a good time, she’s the one to thank. Nancy pulled it all together, including the raffle prizes!
